To do so, we want you to let go of your ways and open up to emotions. You should try to see and feel them behind the art. Perhaps one of the chapters will speak to you more than others. Each of them is different and therefore unique, inviting you to another spectacle. They tell about emotions, states, and personalities that are often hidden in all of us. Those are symbols of wildness, relations, strangeness, authenticity, passion, and talent.

Not any women

... could also have been the title of our book. It was only the One- Magdalena. It is a stroke of luck that early in my life as a people photographer I met the muse in her that others may have to wait half their lives for or will never find.

Browse through the pages and see how much pleasure we had working together, how much mutual trust and respect there is, without which such photographs would never have come about. Sometimes she is sexy, sometimes crazy, sometimes acrobatic, sometimes playful, sometimes she slips into other roles or even comes from another planet.

We work together as a perfect team with equal shares in the creative process. For me, Magdalena is the artist on the other side of the camera. We don't plan every picture down to the last detail, otherwise we would lose the space for spontaneity and informality, but we do choose the location and story in advance.
